Colton Dixon's version of "Love the Way You Lie": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFDPo8GGUi0

And I love it soooo, so much better than either of the two well-known, popular versions out there.

Ooooh man, is that voice and that music powerful. *ALMOST* powerful enough to make me weak in the knees and have second thoughts about my man-stance.  ;D

I just bought The Division Bell by Pink Floyd, their last album. Figured I'd complete the collection :) Not bad so far, though not terribly different from their previous endeavors either. But I still think they're amazing.

Lately I've been getting in to dubstep.  Just bought a few songs from itunes.  Pretty good.  Seems I like the Skrillex song "Gettin It" best out of the bunch.

I like bassy industrial sounding electronica lately.  :)
Nice!!!
I listen to dubstep. Skrillex is my favourite

Don't get me started on the state of what happened to dubstep, I go from a 20 something year old to an old man in the blink of an eye. A form of music that had loads of potential and became shit with Skrillex being the worst offender.

I'm a traditional metalist, so possibly likely to take an anti-dubstep stance, but I'm quite enjoying some of the harder modern music like Skrilex. I like it because it's meaty and hard and has an industrial feel. I've also been listening to Deadmau5 for a couple of years, that does it for me too. If you know of any other stuff like this I'd happily take some recommendations.

I too enjoy Deadmau5.  I'm determined to make a Deadmau5 head for the next Steampunk convention in May, haha.  I'll post a picture if I do.

And I'm sorry, Crow, that Dubstep has changed :(.  Do you have any songs in mind that you like?  I'd love to give them a try.

Haha I know, doesn't everything? But hey that was when I was in uni so I like to keep the rose tinted spectacles on and preach about the good old days. I haven't really listened to much dubstep in a good while but I still listen to Burial and Zomby from time to time, but here are a few that I remember [1][2][3][4][5][6][6][7][8][9]. I could dig out my old hard drive which is full of the stuff but I cant be bothered as it took long enough to find those tracks.

Thanks!  I'll give those a try.   ;D

So far, Cluster One and High Hopes. I love the intro on high hopes, the piano theme playing off the ringing bell is dark and dream-like.

Apparently it is.

Today I've gone through that, Iron maiden, Ella Fitzgerald and now I'm on Louis Armstrong.
