I am posting this simply as an act of solidarity with the women involved!

Yes, put me down for 10. These women are clearly in need of support....    :D

That is a very good way of getting attention to an important topic.

That was awesome, these people deserve the freedom to express themselves as WOMEN!

I never thought of a topless woman as 'nudity' anyway. If men can do it, women can as well.
I believe and support any choice for freedom these human beings need!

I agree, I to would happily go topless to support the cause. However at my age the effect could well result in a campaign for men to keep their tops on  :-[

On topic: good for those women! I'm glad they had the guts to do that. They deserve the freedom to make choices for themselves, as does everyone.

I'm assuming these women aren't currently living in Iran?  It looks like the project, or at least its distribution, is based out of the UK.  Good for them.  My immediate concern though was that if they are in Iran, this would get them killed.  :-\

Because obviously, exposed women's breast are a serious threat on society.

I thought the same thing.

Kudos to them, though!

On a related note, did you know that in New York City, it's legal for women to go topless in public whenever they like?

Wow, I didn't know that! Neat pictures too, some really artistic shots. The one of the woman boxing is playful and fun, and the ones of the woman nursing her baby are so sweet. :)

That's the thing, when you look at enough of them, your brain stops going "OMG boobies!" and just sees it as being normal. Which is what I guess the photographer was going for :)
