Hey!

I'm new here.  I have to say that it's nice to find a place where logical people can get together and further humanities evolution...
not stop it from happening for fear of an imaginary super-being with an apocolyptic anger issue.  Anyways, I look forward to talking with some of you guys and sharing ideas.

Hello, SR. Welcome to HAF. :)
The world's what you create.

Sovereign_Reason

Thanks.  I like your quote.  I agree with it completely... I think that's one of the reasons I'm here.  I'm fed up with some old guy standing at a pulpit telling others what to believe
(i.e. deciding what their worlds are).  I think it's about time people started thinking for themselves... ya know?

Cecilie

Well, you've come to a great place with a lot of like-minded people. And I can't take all the credit for the quote. I heard it in a song. :P

Hi Sovereign_Reason

Well I'm not sure we can do much twards humanity's evolution. I've shot my bolt with three naturalist kids  ;D

Thanks for making the effort to sign up and join in.

Welcome to HAF.

You obviously have not met Asmodean yet.

But welcome to the forum.

Yes we could do with a bit of evolution.
Here is a contribution to help the cause.

Oh my, that's going to be fun to watch.  Pull up a chair, SR, and I'll make some popcorn.

I look forward to meeting this Asmodean person... considering his name was taken from a character, albeit an evil one, in a really good book.  Something tells me the encounter should prove... interesting.  I'm assuming from you guys talking that he/she is a... less than charming person?  lol

Well if that's the case, don't worry for me.  I'm in the Navy... I'm sure I've met worse  :)

Oh, I consider the Asmo entirely charming but then he's never bitten me.
