Omg I LOVE those things! If you are anywhere near the beach you will understand their purpose. I've eaten at restaurants on the pier and these have helped alot. Doesn't matter how warm a day is..once the sun sets by the water it's cold!

"men" who wear capris. I automatically dislike them.

And beggars. I always assume they're full of shit and refuse to give them anything.

Science, science, science!! There could never be enough science programmes on TV!!!

Overly patriotic, narcissistically shallow and localised cultures in which people routinely boast of achievements that were not their own as if they were. Cultures with little substance. Basically the little guys acting as if they were the big boys when actually they've just started puberty. Glorified failure and all round creepiness. Not impressive in the least.

I never really felt a 'd' was missing in my life enough to bother to notice.  

(I wouldn't count myself as being a grammatical purist I was never good friends with grammar, though I have become quite overly acquainted with the spell checker.)

I have a growing distaste for unfounded narcissism (cultural narcissism included), it is the root of all evils I think. I think if you're going to boast, you have to earn the right to boast. Then you can boast to your heart's content and freely
