Is love a commitment to one person, or can you love more than one person at the same time?

To answer my own question. I think some people can indeed do this. But come on, being fair about things? If you do indeed plan to be committed to more than one person, I just don't think it's going to be 50/50 or 30/30/40. Someone  is going to mean just a tad more than the other.

Well as love can be unconditional it's not a question of 30/30/40 it's 100/100/100. One does not have a finite amount of love for any one person or group of people. However in a polyamourous relationship jealousy is the killer. If a person perceives they are on the 80% in a 100/100/80, then things go wrong. Also relationships change and it's rare for the initial flush of romantic infatuation to last for too long a time. Some people also love to be 'in love', it's a drug for them, a high they can't get enough of. They are emotional vampires; when the infatuation of the other person wears off they move on to another victim.

Oh I agree. I happen to be a die hard monogamist. I joke with my fiance all the time about this. Since I say I'm going to be the second wife behind camel (long running joke about him being a camel lover because he lives in Egypt). Thankfully both him and I are only in to one people lovin. I mean I can barely love him let alone another. Plus I'm fiercely possessive!

But..on the Pagan forum I frequent there are quite a few poly amorous people on there. And oddly so far only female. I can hear them explain their side all day long. And it's just like listening to crickets talk. Just doesn't compute for me. But it sure does for them.

A car show. For some reason, I've been wanting one lately.

I would model it after some Japanese game shows I have seen online where difficult challenges are greatly rewarded, but failure is horrible punishment. Look them up on youtube, hilarious.

To me, it would be an experiment on human nature, to most here in america, it would be a funny tv show.

The idea of Xjeepguy goes in the right direction. What I would like to see is a TV-Show like "The Running Man" (based on Stephen King's novel and the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie). It is a game show wherein convicted felons are given the chance to run to freedom but have to elude the stalkers; men who hunt them down and kill them in gruesome manners.
The universe never did make sense; I suspect it was built on government contract.

You may have already seen it but the BBC did a brilliant series called "The Genius of Photography". Could only find clips but give it a peek if you haven't already http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiU5llVteuo.
