By the way, earlier in this thread somebody asked about the little extra pocket on the front of some brands of jeans.  It was originally a watch pocket, though I read somewhere that it was enlarged recently to be able to accommodate small electronic devices.  I don't wear wrist watches, and have actually used it for its intended purpose.
