I was in an Ikea for the first time ever last month and it was a truly bewildering experience. I like their stuff, but online shopping is definitely the way to go for me.

My girlfriend, who loves Ikea, dragged me there for my first visit about a year ago and I had pretty much the same reaction -- we agreed that if I ever go there again, she just parks me in the Swedish meatball section and collects me on her way out.

The Asmo's walking speed does not change from out on the street to inside a store, so he gets stuck behind very slow slow pokes all the time. And they seem completely oblivious to the presence of someone in their rear view vision.
