For so many of your responses, I'm loving them because I'm thinking 'Oooh, I bet that would smell/sound great!'  :D

A couple more I was thinking of --

Fresh cut grass after someone's done mowing a lawn. Smells amazing!

The sound and feel of my cat purring herself to sleep as she lies on top of me and snuggles up when she's cold and tuckered out.  ;D

What my daughter said tonight, I LOVED the sound of: "Mama, you're the bestest! I love you better than chocolate chip cookies!"  ;D

Smell: Chocolate chip cookies in the oven and cigars.

At the same time?  :P

As for me:

Smells: satsuma perfume (/cream/etc), paper (both old books and new comics)

Sounds: the Tardis, crunchy 4-part harmonies, sweet guitar solos

Maybe... I have never smelled them at the same time. But I do like the individual smells.

Very fun! :) I love acapella stuff, or songs that require different sounds/voices. Even better when it's combined like this!

You ought to check Mike Thompkins out, he's an artist from my neck of the woods that does acapella, including different vocal tones and all his own musical instruments, with prettymuch just his voice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjCLQaTFXx0&list=FLhYeFIUQpj6Eya7Bw1GThGg&index=21&feature=plpp_video

I can understand the silence thing, I was out for a walk today and was listening to my ipod, heard all the traffic noise and people talking, etc, and all of a sudden I thought "I'm sick of the noise!", turning off my podcast, came home ASAP, and just sat in the silence of an empty house and went 'Aaaaah'.  :)

Sounds:  The beat of a heart, the sound of rain on a tin roof, the chirping of sparrows on my roof in the morning, the sound of trees swaying in the breeze. The ticking of a clock, the sound of my kids laughing(laughing in general as well),

Smells:  The damp smell in the air after a rain, I also can "smell" the changes in the season and love it! The smell of my kids after they have been sleeping, the smell of the lilacs and roses outside our window in the spring and summer. Flowers, the smell of a campfire, fresh cut lumber, freshly baked bread(I make this sometimes), coffee, red wine, almost ANYTHING cooking...lol and of course women...they smell so good :)

that's it for now.....I know there is MUCH more.. :D
