Did you know a wombat's rump is protected by a bony plate and acts as a defensive shield if the wombat is chased down its burrow by a predator?

I've probably set the bar too high with such an excellent introductory "did you know" but don't let that stop you, astound us with your knowledge.

I never claimed to be tasteful. :P

Did you know that deep sea fish can withstand the enormous presure bcause their internal pressure is equally enormous?

Did you know that when you flush the toilet, over 30,000 germs are released into the air. This is why you should not leave your toothbrush near the toilet!

Frogs cannot vomit. Whenever a frog absolutely has to barf, it barfs its entire stomach. How it gets its stomach back in is beyond me. And honestly, chucking you stomach out of your mouth just can't feel very good at all.
The essence of the mind is not in what it thinks, but how it thinks. Faith is the surrender of our mind; of reason and our skepticism to put all our trust or faith in someone or something that has no good evidence of itself. That is a sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith is not.
