Cool.  I've seen things like this before when the middle letters of a word were mixed up, but never with numbers thrown in, as well.  The brain is good at picking up patterns and making sense out of apparent chaos.

I think maybe the trick is, to not think about it. I could read it as fast as if it were proper words on the first go. Although I must admit at times I just felt myself trying to look at a word just to see what on earth I was actually reading, to see the numbers that I didn't see when I was reading it at normal speed.

Quite fascinating.

You can also do an m without using letters. Like /\/\, for instance
