There is this old thread about The Brick Testament.

The Brick Testament is in the news yeh, but it's not good news  :(

QuoteThrough his hit Web site and three popular books, Smith has spread the gospel of "The Brick Testament." But now, because of what it says are concerns about "mature content," Sam's Club, one of the nation's largest retailers, has banned in-store sales of the fourth book in the series, "The Brick Bible."

Well there's often resistance to new interpretation of old books, at least they aren't burning The Brick Bible or it's creator, yet.

Oh if only this would set a precedent to keep children out of churches.

The Bible has some pretty mature content.

I wouldnt have an issue with the bible if it were in the fiction section by Greek and Norse mythology. Even then-- pffft... Odin and Zeus drop kick Christian god in its face.

:D Zeus and Odin are way cooler than Yahweh or the Christian god.

The Brick Testament looks amazing, thanks for introducing it to me MP

Nope.  He's totally laid-back and cares very little what we do.  He encourages flimsy moral standards among His followers.  He only created the universe because He was pissed.

Well that explains the crap designs all around and in us.

Precisely.  We have probably the only religion with a cast-iron answer to the theodicy question.
