So you see, if it touches clay or something which touches clay or something which touches something which touches clay and so on and so on, The Asmo layeth rightful claim to it. According to The Book(tm).

Asmo(s) proclamation is useless and Asmo(s) cannot be god.

Oh no he didn't!!!!

Notice I did some Fox News editing.

Yes! The pottery wheel verse! The message is, apparently, spreading.  :D

In Asmo's grey lump,
wrath and dark clouds gather force.
Luxembourg trembles.

Ali

Rolling ranks of storm cloud grey
Fueled by coffee
Running rampant through Oslo

It's a haiku!  ;D

Asmodean

Not bad... But The Tome is written in a different style.  :D

I'll keep working on it.  So far I've done an Asmo limerick, and an Asmo haiku.  Maybe next I'll try my hand at an Asmo villanelle.  ;)

Asmodean

I suppose we could branch out a bit, like all the other religions...  ???

My Asmo Villanelle:

Asmo is coming with barbarian bands
To strike from the world licorice and melon
The world is clay in his hands

Shouting for coffee and spouting off demands
Tromping muddy feet, whoopin' and yellin'
Asmo is coming with barbarian bands

The grey horde marches to his commands
From London to Tokyo to the Straits of Magellan
The world is clay in his hands

Cities fall and as his empire expands
Overrun with his thugs and felons
Asmo is coming with barbarian bands

His name is dread across the lands
So you'd better be buying what Asmo is sellin'
The world is clay in his hands

With a savage charm no one withstands
They fall before him, quakin' and quellin'
Asmo is coming with barbarian bands
The world is clay in his hands

Your verse
Ain't laconic
But Your talent
Is supersonic.
Some ideas are so stupid only an intellectual could believe them (Orwell).

Ali is hereby promoted to The Great Priestess Of Grayness.  :D

Oh great priestess of grayness You must now start an Asmo epic.
It appears to me (whether rightly or wrongly) that direct arguments against Christianity and theism produce hardly any effect on the public; and freedom of thought is best promoted by the gradual illumination of men's minds which follows from the advance of science - Charles Darwin

I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the object of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a god, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotism. - Albert Einstein

Religion is a by product of fear. For much of human history, it may have been a necessary evil, but why was it more evil than necessary? Isn't killing people in the name of God a pretty good definition of insanity. - Arther C. Clarke

Faith means not wanting to know what is true. - Friedrich Nietzsche

If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.
"Religion is a culture of faith; science is a culture of doubt." ― Richard P. Feynman
'It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die. That is true, it's called Life.' - Terry Pratchett
Remember, your inability to grasp science is not a valid argument against it.
