Technically, there is space between everything that "touches" and therefore nothing actually touches anything as space is just space.  A void.
...Which is where the verse about that comes in to play. The space between molecules is defined as a part of The Gray Realm, and that is already Asmo's:

A Kingdom, born from empty space,
The Realm of Grayness stretches out
It spans the matter and the waves -
All things within, and all without

Therefore shipping cannot be free as the Asmo(s) proclaims it to be...therefore Asmo(s) proclamation is useless and Asmo(s) cannot be god.
You see, it most certainly can.

In Asmo's grey lump,
wrath and dark clouds gather force.
Luxembourg trembles.

It can or it is?   :-*

Oooh, I like the pretty poems about Asmo.  I want to do one!

There once was a god named Asmo
Whose favorite movie was Orgasmo
He was lumpy and grey
And always got his way
And had coffee in his veins instead of plasmo.

;D

(What?  Asmo is hard to rhyme!)

To this, The Book(tm) answers as follows:

A can of worms, it is a can
Thus, can can be an is sometimes
If Asmo says that something can,
Then when it is, it's no surprise

Therefore the asmo(s) "proclamations" depend on further investigation.

Well, His predictions usually come true. For instance, there was something about Tank splitting The Gray Tome talk off the rest of this thread... But it is an obscure prophecy, not too well known.

That said, the last two lines state pretty clearly that what The Asmo proclaims to be a can is a can, thus, can and is are in this context synonimous.

Is there a text regarding 'ususally come true' asmo(s) proclamations?

Of course. The Book(tm) is eternal and therefor has answers to infinitely many questions. But that is the story for another time.

Nearly a correct prediction.
"Religion is fundamentally opposed to everything I hold in veneration — courage, clear thinking, honesty, fairness, and above all, love of the truth."

This is all very Winnie the Pooh.

Poor Tank, he automatically gets the blame :D

A great god must have a nemesis so that great battle of Clayiness and Non Clayiness can ensue. Who treads on the Grey Lump's wrong side?

Well, it is an obscure prophecy after all. May have been misinterpreted. Will require some fine-comb reading after its fulfillment to assess where the interpretation failed, of course, but that is the way of prophecies, it is.

Oh great Asmo I bow down and worship before whatever you move around on, and exult in your wisdom.
It appears to me (whether rightly or wrongly) that direct arguments against Christianity and theism produce hardly any effect on the public; and freedom of thought is best promoted by the gradual illumination of men's minds which follows from the advance of science - Charles Darwin

I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the object of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a god, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotism. - Albert Einstein

Religion is a by product of fear. For much of human history, it may have been a necessary evil, but why was it more evil than necessary? Isn't killing people in the name of God a pretty good definition of insanity. - Arther C. Clarke

Faith means not wanting to know what is true. - Friedrich Nietzsche

Small and grey and almost round
Motionless upon the ground
Cheerful mostly when he feels
His bum against the potters wheel

When one sleeps on the floor one need not worry about falling out of bed - Anton LaVey

The universe is a cold, uncaring void. The key to happiness isn't a search for meaning, it's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually you'll be dead!
