What does everyone do for a living?

I'm still a sophomore in high school, but I think I am going to apply to William Woods University for their equestrian science program. Then, hopefully I will work as a riding instructor/ trainer. I won't make a whole lot of money, but I absolutely love working with horses. Plus, they have boarding not far off campus so I can take my boy with me. That alone makes me really happy.

I'm confused How old are you?

Fifteen, almost sixteen in two weeks. Did I not say? hmm. Thought I did....

Sorry, should have specified, I meant my quarter horse gelding, Vinnie. I always call him my boy XD I spend way too much time on horse forums. forgot that boarding has other meanings then horse- related.

No problem. I hang out with other people who ride horses, so I often forget that most people don't know some terms.

I graduated with a degree in finance in 2008, worked for a year at a job that i hated, and went back to school for mechanical engineering spring of 2010. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I graduate, but I'm sure that I like engineering more than I liked finance. I will also be going for my masters in mechanical engineering when I finish my undergrad work.

Well at least you'll have an excellent insight into how to fund/finance anything you invent in due course!
My son did mechanical engineering at Imperial College, worked at McLaren F1 for a summer break, spent his final year in UC Berkley. He's now doing a PhD in 3D ultrasonic imaging at elevated temperatures, he was over presenting his first paper in the US a couple of months ago. Definitly more fun than finance 

Just saw this. That's great for your son Tank. Seems like a pretty specialized PhD. What does he plan on doing after he gets it?

Well he still wants to get into F1. The credit crunch killed his chances which is why he did the PhD. He's still in touch with the designers at McLaren.
