If you are romantically minded, I supposed you'd go for Prince-Charming-woos-humble-virgin-and-undergoes-many-heartbreaks-and-then-all-live-happily-ever-after.  There was just enough porn in it to keep me going to the end, despite the fairytale plot.
That's the kind of dreck that needs to be obliterated T____T;;;

I struggle with this statement, because it conflicts with my belief that anything with porn can't be all bad.

IIRC you borrowed that dictum from Aristotle's Πόρνογραφια, the great Pornographia.  Anyhow, you're right.

Okay, so I have started sort of paging through 50SofG (but only the dirty bits; I can't be bothered to read the actual story) and I have to say that Christian Grey reminds me very much of a male member of this board but I will NEVER say who.   ;D  Stew on that for a while, fellas.   ;D

I vote for Recusant. He oozes charisma but there is a hint of menace about him.
Some ideas are so stupid only an intellectual could believe them (Orwell).

So far I've just got to the beginning of chapter 2 in 50SofG and so far I'm getting a few good laughs.

Again, I haven't read it straight through, just kind of flipped around, but it makes me giggle how often Ana says "Holy Shit" and bites her lip.  That's like her default response to everything the sinister Mr Grey does.

E_R - You can guess and vote all you want.  I'm not telling (except DJ.)

I haven't got to the mucky bits yet. I'm still at the the 'Steele as a rabbit in the headlights' bit at the moment.

Recusant it is. A man who would tether you to a four poster bed as quick as look at you.

Apparently you never ever read Sonic fanfiction.

After 50SofG "Hint of Menace" might be a good name for an aftershave!
