All characters from Fifty Shades Of Grey, except the perverted murderous boss.
Have you read it? I'm 8 pages in and I'd have left Steele on the floor :)

Is he murderous? That actually increases my desire to read the book slightly.  I thought it was just porn, I didn't realize it had a plot.

It has an infantile plot, of sorts, and at one point the evil ... no - no spoilers, but someone is a bit naughty.

I got it free for my Kindle off TUEBL and I actually read all 3 volumes, mainly to know what all the fuss is about.  It's just a fairy-tale romance with all the clichés, liberally laced with kinky sex.

eff that noise, what's all the fuss about then? or are people just starting to admit they like porn.

If you are romantically minded, I supposed you'd go for Prince-Charming-woos-humble-virgin-and-undergoes-many-heartbreaks-and-then-all-live-happily-ever-after.  There was just enough porn in it to keep me going to the end, despite the fairytale plot.

You managed to keep it going till the end of the book! I'm impressed.  :D

It was only the naughty stuff that strengthened me.  I wish I hadn't; the last bit is much, much more ickle-dickle pukemaking than the rest.

Sounds like I could probably miss it and be none the worse.

It's crap from the little bit I've read and reviews like OGs are common. My wife described it as Mills & Boon with fucking.

That Phoenix dude in Gladiator. Just takes me out of an otherwise decent movie. And Razumikhin from Crime and Punishment. Fucking do-gooder. Leave the man alone! What's worse than someone that's all bright and sunny when you're in a deep funk? If you're a real friend, leave him alone and be there when he calls for you.

I was somewhat interested in reading it until I found out that it was essentially heavily edited Twilight slash fiction. I...I just can't do it.

"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

OMFSM - not the Furby!  Anything but that.  I'd rather they dug up Cliff Richard.

Hmm...
