Back after a week in Cornwall. Lovely weather, a very laid back attitude.

On their way to getting married, a young couple is involved in a fatal car accident. They find themselves sitting outside the Pearly Gates, waiting for St. Peter to process them into Heaven. While waiting, they begin to wonder: Could they possibly get married in Heaven? When St. Peter shows up, they ask him. St. Peter says, 'I don't know. This is the first time anyone has asked that. Let me go and find out,' and he leaves.

The couple sit and wait, and wait. Two months pass and the couple is still waiting. As they wait, they discuss that if they were allowed to get married in Heaven, what was the eternal aspect of it all. 'What if it doesn't work?' they wondered. 'Are we stuck together forever?'

After yet another month, St. Peter finally returns, looking somewhat bedraggled. 'Yes,' he informs the couple, 'you can get married in Heaven.'

'Great!' says the couple, 'But we were just wondering, what if things don't work out? Can we also get a divorce in Heaven?'

St. Peter, red-faced with anger, slams his clipboard onto the ground.

'What's wrong?' ask the frightened couple.

'OH, COME ON!' St. Peter shouts, 'It took me three months to find a priest up here! Do you have any idea how long it'll take me to find a lawyer?'

When I first read this I thought you meant real mice.....and then I was confused....and then I was like "Oh!, that kind of mouse"  roflol   I just stun the other type and give them to the chickens  


Not sure I like this new mouse either, opted for a corded over a cordless since my cats like to take off with things like this and I'm getting aggravated with the kinked cord issues......

Today I'm in a bad mood.  The LOST finale left me disgusted.

[spoiler:3khwvx24]The whole ending is about who got to go to Heaven and who ended up in Hell.  There's nothing in this world I despise more than the concept of Hell.   Well, maybe the fact that so many people think it's a good idea.  [/spoiler:3khwvx24]

About LOST:

[spoiler:17cczpak]You know, I don't really have a problem with stories that include heaven and hell really as long as they're done well.  I think that stuff is all a story anyway, so it seems appropriate to have it play some part in obviously fictitious TV show and I feel like any science they came up with to explain the 'smoke monster' would have been just as equally fictional.  The reason the finale left me disappointed was that it wasn't clever.  There wasn't twists and huge shocking revelations.  It just seemed like an endless parade of montages so that you had no doubt just how awesome the show thought it was, with a ridiculously cliche ending that didn't reflect what all of those slowmo reaction shots were celebrating.[/spoiler:17cczpak]

[spoiler:14ev2xj9]But I don't think it was hell, I think it was purgatory.  Ben Linus said he had something he needed to work out first.  That suggests purgatory more than hell.  They so could have made the timelines merge without any religious twaddle.[/spoiler:14ev2xj9]

I was just observing some sheep that live right outside my bedroom window, and I though what boring lives they must have. All they do is eat and just stand there. I suppose many animals do the same, but sheep strike me as particularly boring.

Yesterday was my two year anniversary at HAF. This Sunday is my one year wedding anniversary. It didn't occur to me until just recently that I joined HAF on the anniversary of my dad's death and we got married on the anniversary of the day of his burial.  :yay:
