Quote from: "Cecilie"I was just observing some sheep that live right outside my bedroom window, and I though what boring lives they must have. All they do is eat and just stand there. I suppose many animals do the same, but sheep strike me as particularly boring.

Sheep are boring, except in some countried where they are bored, in which case they are considered to be quite exciting  :D

I'm starting a new tattoo next week.  Oooh I'm very excited.  I'd like to see pictures of other people's tattoos, I remember people mentioning having them in the 10 things lists.  Tattoos are one of my passions!  :D

It's a chick with an octopus on her head on my forearm with her hair/the octopus kind of wrapped around my arm a little.  I wish I had a picture of the sketch, it's hard to explain.   :fire:

For the most part the pain is the equivilent to a 9 volt on your tounge and I doubt the tats would require anymore explaining the anything else a generally nieve grandchild would want to know about...which is pretty much everything anyway.

The only advise I have pinko is make ABSOLUTLY sure you're willing to wear that for the rest of you life and for the love of the FSM check your artist's book so you can get a feel for thier work and quality. If they don't have any examples that means 2 thing usually they havent done enough to have examples or they haven't done anything worth recording as an example either way stay away from them.Good luck and conrats.

Thanks for the advice!  This will be my fifth tattoo, I'm already pretty addicted to getting work done.  I think Tank was trying to warn Cecilie, who I'm pretty sure is too young to get a tattoo yet?  I think your advice is 100% on the mark, though, and anyone who is considering getting a tattoo especially for the first time should really take that advice to heart.  I went to a few shops where I felt kind of bullied before I found an artist who I feel comfortable with.

It was a bit more than the usual amount of poignant to the people who saw it while I was in the ICU in a coma.  :drool

Full back-width design across shoulders, tribal on midsection going down past my wasteline, Hanzi "in remembrance of Father" on right chest, one Pink Floyd tattoo per inner forearm just below inside of my elbows.

And I want more.  :drool

Started a new job today...I wonder how long it will take for me to learn how to relax at home again instead of constantly feeling like if I'm not working on trying to find more work that I'm slacking?

Was this with a new company or a new job in your existing company or something else?
