I believe you.
The other day, something like this jumped on my arm.

Did it also ask whether you knew "Jesus, our Lord and Saviour?" :snicker:

:headscratch: It must have been one of those Ancient/Insectoid Alien Species. Where's Ihateyoumike when you need him?  :( He knows so much about Alien Species, he would be able to tell you who they are. I only know about them because...Well, sometimes I like to watch strange things on YouTube.  :-[
We have the mantis who prays, the alien type, and the atheist praying mantis.  ;)  ;D

What is the traditional American christmas dinner?

It is a lot like the traditional American Thanksgiving dinner. However, there is more variety in the main dish. Turkey is popular, but you might also see something like a ham or Cornish game hens. You are also a bit less likely to find foods associated specifically with the Thanksgiving legend such as corn or squash dishes.

The atheist praying mantis? I feel sorry for the poor things. They're probably just "praying" to avoid having their heads eaten by the those who pray.  :(

Don't forget about the prime rib! With all those flecks of fat that melt through the roast like butter. If fat is the highway on which flavor travels prime rib is that twenty lane highway in Burma that nobody drives on. Lots of people think fat equals gristle and tend to steer clear of the ribeye for that reason. Their loss I guess.

Oh, no!  :smileshake:
That's a common misconception.
The atheist praying mantis likes to brag about it, most of them walk around like this:

Tomorrow most of the night shift starts a new schedule at work. We go from a 1:30 pm to midnight schedule to a 3 pm to 1:30 am schedule. Instead of a two hour overlap with the day shift, we'll only have a 30 minute one. We have one person keeping the 1:30 to midnight schedule, but she was hired in at that schedule and can't change due to having to get a ride to and from work. It will actually work out better since at least three days a week due to day shift staffing levels, there weren't enough work stations for everyone once the night shift folks got there at 1:30.

I don't know Mags, it still looks like that atheist mantis is "walking a tightrope", as in it has to tread very carefully.

But I'll take your word for it.  ;D

As for the gentlemanbugs, maybe they're all drag queens?

It's not often that changes imposed by the management actually improve things for the workers. How do you cope with such late hours. Is that 5 days a week?

I...um...don't think so.

I had never stopped to think about the type of problems bugs have. It started with your giant dragonfly...It was a dragonfly--right? Anyways...Then, the mantis, then the crickets. I was just wondering, is all this going somewhere?

 It's not really going anywhere...just like that first bug that flew into my room (which wasn't a dragonfly in fact, but looked more like a mosquito on steroids) didn't go anywhere after a brief encounter with the sole of my slipper.

I wouldn't kill a harmless dragonfly.  :smileshake:

Went to get lunch, Falafel is what I wanted and I'm really hungry so two large wraps will do me. I checked my pockets for money and realised I didn't have any so I grabbed a tenner from hole in the wall and walked up to the best place I have found for falafel so far. After placing my order the man says that will be £7.50 as they are £3.75 each and I hand over the ten pound note and received my change, I wasn't really thinking about money as I was too hungry but something wasn't right. This started to bug me whilst I was walking back, I put my hand in my pocket and pull out £7. Yes! Cheap lunch.

Now the question is are you going to give the extra change back?

Ten hours a day, four days a week. I have a three day weekend nearly every weekend.
