Ya, I was able to see that I had a white hair just under the area where I part it...so I pulled the hair out; it appears to be the only one so far though I did think I had pulled one from the back the other day.  I hope they are just stress related and no more will who up; I'm too young to have white hair and don't want to have to color it all the time.  Or I can convince myself that they are just really light blonde hairs that are mixed in with my brown hair....

Off to get my new glasses in a couple of hours  8)
Congrats! Just remember you might have a headache for a bit getting used to them. I had this weird trippy thing where I kept looking down at the ground and seeing it rounded. And it seemed closer to me. Which had me standing in the parking lot reaching out to nothing in the air. I'm sure I looked like a complete loon!

I think it's going to take me a full week to get use to the glasses at the rate my eyes are adjusting; maybe longer to not notice the frames in my vision most of the time.  Very strange...I can see why people choose to get contacts (though those probably have a whole other set of strangeness).

Sweetdeath

I love contacts!  I'm great at putting them in, but suck at taking them out.

I ate a bean and cheese burrito and some Spanish rice. I'm in Mexican heaven!

*except now I feel like I have to burp. It's been a week of soft bland type foods.  :P

Socks are evil.
Did one of them run away?
Yes. And that was my very last sock. Needta' go shopping
I personally have this thing about socks. I don't like to wash them more than three times. Then I buy new ones. There are alot of generic t-shirt/socks places by my house. Something like 10 pair for $6 or something like that. Since I am on my feet walking at the bowling alley I want comfort down there. I wear top notch Nike tennis shoes and very comfy squishy socks. I also wear feet inserts because I have Plantar Fisciitus in one foot. Now I walk around on a cloud! It's what I call my diva splurge. Makes me feel rich to always have new socks! :)

Cheers. Fortunately the prescription change was negligible so it didn't take more than a couple of hours to get used to. But I'll tell you something that surprised me! I have a pair of varifocal reactalights as my main glasses. This time I had an anti-reflection coating added, and it's bloody brilliant! I used to be aware of ghost images and be distracted be reflections, all gone now, I'm much less aware of the glasses themselves than I used to be. At £30 it's not cheap when you pile it on top of the rest but as I'll probably have these glasses for 3 years 3p a day seems very good value for money. On the basis of this experience I would highly recommend anti-reflective coating.

Ooh! Ooh! It may not have sharp teeth or perfectly round ears, but I still want me that creature.  :D
