What are your life goals?

Mike M.

As the title implies, I'm wanting to know what everyone's life goals are.  Why?  I don't know, I just like learning new things, especially about other people.

Some of my life goals are to ---

--Get accepted to either the Virginia Military Institute or the Naval Academy and graduate either as a Marine Corps Officer
--Obtain a Ph.D. in astrophysics and at least a major in Theology (to better understand what I don't believe).
--To make some contribution to the scientific community, albeit major or minor
--To sky dive at least once
--To climb a mountain

Anyone else want to share?

Thanks,
Mike M.

- Be proud of what I have been responsible for.
- Don't let another statement that I don't agree with leave my mouth.
- Use the social contract more creatively.
"I rebel -- therefore we exist." - Camus

Will

I'd like to leave the world a better place when I die than it was when I was born. That's been my ambition since I first dared to ambit. I'm still not sure how that broad goal will take shape, but I'm hopeful.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

Whitney

-to help further freethought and atheism as commonplace worldviews so that less people have to be afraid to be out
-to run a successful architecture firm with focus on sustainable design
-to live happily ever after with my husband
-to experience motherhood  (if my friends with kids don't scare me out of it before I get to that point)

# And, as Whitney said, support an atheistic view of life, creating a more comfortable environment for atheists to speak openly in without feeling victimised or marginalised

Now, I probably won't be ALL of these (but who knows?), so I'd like a minimum of 5.
These are all very lofty, but none are COMPLETELY unreasonable, or unrealistic for me personally.

I'd also like to thank you for asking this question, it was really thought-provoking, and I'll save my list for the future.  :D
