Bit boring I'm afraid, just another boring housing boring estate boring road. This is an old one, but actually less boring than the one I took today. The big tree in the background is the best feature, especially when shorn of its leaves and all nature is revealed. Not a good picture, might have taken it with my first tablet with a lousy camera

I slouch back on the couch with a cushion behind my head and my left foot on the big cube that serves as both footrest and coffee table (and work bench at times, even as a seat.. With my right leg crossed over the left that puts the right knee at just the correct height to balance my 20x80 astro-binos. These give me a viewing area about 2 metres in diameter to watch the interactions of the crows, pigeons, magpies, squirrels and other denzins of this vertical nature reserve.

Could use a tripod but this is actually more flexible.

After making my way through the jungle to the left of me,

I see this.

Our trees lost a lot of limbs this winter.

Bit rough was it?

Just some exercise getting it all to the curb. The house plants appreciate the extra light.

Cool! This what I see when I leave my house every day, a rather boring apartment building. They're a noisy lot, every so often somebody's  throwing a party well into the early hours of the morning. Usually such things don't get to me but their music choices are almost always cringe worthy. :o

I have no idea what that tree in the middle of the shot is. I just know that some brilliant person decided to plant that under the electrical cables.

I complain but I like where I live.

Never thought of using it before but my "little" camera, on max optical zoom, gives me a view about a foot across at the tree!

Must try it on the night sky, but tripod essential.

Take my advice, don't listen to me.

^ Sensational picture BP, but I did not know that some of your birds are bigger than the roos. That's scary.
