Hey, the BBC is who created and aired "The Root of All Evil".  I don't think PBS will be airing that little Richard Dawkin's creation anytime soon.  Also, "Monty Python".  Nuff said.

I also love BBC radio.  NPR isn't bad... but it doesn't hold a candle to the BBC.  Where else would we have gotten "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", "Dr Who", and BBC News.

ask away, silviakjell.  I've no qualms about you using MY special part of this forum for your random questions (within reason, of course), but yeah, fire away.

Until it gets full?  Well, I've a lot of questions still to ask, given time.  So I suppose it depends on the capacity of the servers, or something like that.

But mommasquid, I don't think the Brits are superior.  I KNOW they are superior.  In every way. It's just an established and accepted fact. Superior in intellect, in culture, in language, in manners, and so on and so forth.....You are, after all, and as I said before, our spawn, our offspring, much like the Australians, only they were sent there because of their crimes, whereas you,...... well, ...maybe you DID score a little military victory over us at some point in your history.  Which you all probably realise by now was a mistake...

Hey, did my attempt at putting one of those smiley faces work?  I just tried it, but as I type now on my screen, it doesn't seem to be showing.

edit:  Hang on, it DOES seem to be showing.  But at the top of my post, and not at the bottom, where I would like it, and where everyone else manages to include it.  Any tips, anybody?

Right a mistake. We have guns, you guys don't. We are not watched by cameras as much as you people. We're definitely more free here than over at your country. You can claim to be free but anyone who isn't allowed to own a gun is just a few steps from calling his government "Master". At least we have the ability to fight such measures.

Did you also get told to "lighten up" early in your career as a mugger? See in your country, you tell people to treat muggings like a business transaction.  In America, we treat it like school, the mugger learns quick or dies trying. Maybe that's why we're a super power and you guys haven't been one for quite some time. Not to mention we had to save your asses a couple of times. Of course you and the French tend to forget without the US, you'd probably be speaking German, or maybe even Russian.

Maybe it's time for America to put it's "father/mother" into the nursing home.

I know I annoy you, Court.  I've known that for a long time, from your answers in response to my posts.    But you know what?  Though you are young and beautiful, I am not captivated or swayed by your beauty.  I respond to civility.   I've no beef with you, court, like you seem to have with me.  I've said it many times. You are undoubtedly a clever person.

Not just twice...sometimes 3 or 4 posts in a row...usually somewhat random thoughts or something which is not too much different from the previous post.

Post count means nothing if the posts don't contain any thoughtful content.

Onlyme, learn how to use the edit button when you want to say more after posting...it helps to keep the thread less cluttered.

I don't really care, luckily enough. Plenty of people don't like me, or think I'm mean and blunt. What other people think isn't really that important.
You have proven yourself distasteful, and I have no reason to like you. I wish you would get over it (ie-Stop mentioning it). What I think about you doesn't really matter.
