I did a trial run of my restore script. Some topics are back in business-ish. It's a bit too gnarly for my taste as certain things, such as the total views are a lie. also ,there are posts made by "Asmodean Prime", which predate the account creation. This is due to my having the member id 1, formerly belonging to another.

Do have a look around and tell me if you see something fucked up unmercifully.

Eh... Yes. One of them very few columns in the topic table that is unique to it.

BTW, I'd postpone. Because my new script is cool, fast and gnarly, but also ridiculously dumb. If we need to execute it once or twice more because certain Asmos found more posts to be ported, well... The stickies will go away again :-)

I noticed there seems to be two separate Joke Threads, one in the LB Lounge, and the other under General/Politics.

Good eye, Bruno de la Pole. Not sure what's going on there. I checked it out, and though there was one listed as being in the Politics board (seen in the "Home" view), clicking on it in that listing took you to the thread in the Laid Back Lounge. Just a minor glitch, I think. I moved the Huckabee thread created today into Politics, which cleared the anomalous listing off the Home page. If you spot anything else like that be sure to say.

Something's also going on with the "Sign in when you get back" thread. There's a link to it in the Media subforum, which takes you to the thread in the LB Lounge.

Lies in previous board and previous topic, I suspect... Will have to fix those. I wonder if that can be achieved by moving the thread to another board and then back.
