Normalization of relations between the USA and Cuba

How did the French get in here?  I'm confused.  Where am I?  Who are all these people?

El Mundo and other Cuban newspapers are controlled by the Communist Party of Cuba. El Mundo and others exclaimed and reiterated: Aha!, the Americans blinked. We have won. The decadent US democracy has proven themselves to be the less worthy political ideologies.

They have to say that to try and claim they got the better end of the deal. Whatever, it's long overdue, and even many Cuban-Americans think so too. One reason it hasn't happened sooner is because Florida's a major swing state in every presidential election, and most of the Cuban dissidents who think they can still fuck the Castros with the embargo live there. But there's even cracks amongst the Cubans about the policy. Definitely something that Obama will be remembered for years from now.
