This is one of my favorite questions to ask people, considering the fact that I can never seem to make up my mind. At the moment I'm leaning towards a mushroom sub with humus and onion, but this could change at any moment. The sub and some curly fries mabye...

I was just eating Tilamook sharp cheddar cheese and Roasted Garlic Triscuits.  I recommend, was a yummy snack!  Just be sure and brush your teeth after, RG Triscuits taste amazing but you pay a heavy price....

Fish. Preferably cod but I'm not picky.

I considered fish but the seafood counter was closing up and frozen fish didnt sound apealing. In the end I had a roast beef and mushroom sandwich with roasted potatoes. My brother's a fisherman so I think I'll get a few fillets tomorrow. If I'm lucky he'll have something besides catfish. ( catfish just aren't good if you don't fry them. )

Gwyneth Paltrow says fried broccoli is nice but I don't believe her.  Anyway frying defeats the purpose, you should suffer brocoli and feel virtuous in suffering for the good of your health. (Wiggles a piece of broccoli for added emphasis.)

Hey, I love broccoli. I'll eat it any way except covered in cheese.

Fried broccoli is good so long as the broccoli isn't totally raw when it goes in the oil. Otherwise it comes out too firm on the inside for fried food. Crispy on the outside doesn't go well with crispy on the inside. Now this gives me an idea: broiled fish, fried green beans and the rest of the roasted potatoes.

Broccoli?  :-X

I'm thinking a hamburger would be nice right now...but something that doesn't taste like eating a sandwiched sheet of vellum/leather rather than bovine meat or mutton.

I made some Tom Ka Gai for the family yesterday, very proud of myself, it was awesome.

There was a squirrel in my garden this morning, stealing the bird food. Squirrels are reckoned to be tasty - I'll put the air rifle handy by the door.  Maybe I'll need 2 or 3 squirrels for a decent stew for me and Mrs Git??

Raw broccoli is yummy. We have it chopped into finger-food sized pieces and dunked in French vinaigrette. The kids like it more than a regular lettuce-based salad. Me too. And the stalks, rinded and cut into strips, can be eaten in the same way. Delicious.

Right now though, I just want some fresh, cold melon to rest gently on my churning, fat tummy. It's been a weekend of excess!

Yup I would say it's maybe better raw than cooked. Also Asian style dressings work really well with it raw if going to be used in a salad.

I totally disagree.  Raw broccoli has a weird squeaky texture that I don't like.  Steamed broc is nice though.  Broc (raw or cooked) is one of T's fav foods.  I believe that this is because when I was pregnant, I craved broccoli.  Husband was in grad school in the evenings at the time and so I would make dinner and save him a plate for when he got home.  When pregnant with T, I once ate a pound of broc before Husband got home.  Just tasted so good, I couldn't stop picking at it until it was gone.  He didn't get any.   :P

Gimme some authentic Pyranees gaspacho. Yummy and healthy too.

Unless you have had a frost recently I wouldn't recommend squirell. During the summer months they typically become infected by a maggot like parasite. We call them 'wolves,' although I don't know why. But squirell is quite tasty for a game animal. Wait till fall and prepare a stir-fry.
