I would like to wish my father a very happy father's day today, especially because I was unable to wish him a happy father's day yesterday, when the temporal propriety of such an announcement was still valid. What was the reason for the delayed disencumbrance* of these words from my mouth? Well, practically speaking, I was not in the personal vicinity of my father for much of the day. You see, I had work. Damn.

Any way, happy father's day dad. I guess I'll take back that newspaper opening on craigslist!

For me personally, it was a happy Father's Day - surrounded by family and good food.  Very relaxing.
