Bad Penny II

My youngest lives 500km north
She drove here dropped off her car and dog.
My wife continued south with her 400km to Sydney for a competition.
My morning is arranged, take daughters car and pay $75 to have the transmission fluid changed and walk dog whilst fluid is in flux.  Ye I know $75 dollars but my finger nails are clean.
She was called a staffie kelpie cross by the the shelter people.
She might three now, she looks likes what you'd think a ridge back puppy would look like.
I had 12 year bad stressful experience with a barkey dog.
This girl is a darling, I took to the water and she does this obsessive compulsive hole digging in the ever collapsing watery sand.
I'm not in love
So don't forget it
It's just a silly phase I'm going through
I keep your picture
Upon the wall
It hides a nasty stain that's lying there

Take my advice, don't listen to me.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx

Reading before sleep.

They keep telling  us that blue light is not good before going to sleep, reddish is better. So I am trying a little experimrnt with rose coloured spectacles. I have a selection of cheap (£1 a pair) reading specs, 1.5 to 3.5 dioptre, that I use with my normal ones as supplimentary lenses for close up work. I can read eadily with 1.5 dioptres. That pair is moulded in one piece of plastic apart from the arms.  So I have stuck some thin red celophane over them using narrow strips of double sided tape..

A little light attenuation of course, but not much, can still read this tablet screen and my Kindle with its screen light on and off. Just discovered that there is more contrast on my phone screen wearing these, the lock screen is white text on a blue background, red filters block blue light so the background is darker but the text is still quite bright.

There is something about reading dyslexia being relieved by coloured glasses IIRC.

for the purpose of the post shame = An unfortunate development

It's a shame about Spacey, I liked him.
You shouldn't judge until it's all done.
But already my like is past tense.
If he comes out good it'll still be a shame.

Take my advice, don't listen to me.

OK. I know I had a conversation with RuthLu last night.  :headscratch:

Today's Spring Cleaning day, and I've noticed just how much garbage I have -- if I were to throw everything I don't use anymore away, I actually don't have much.  :???:

Well, it's best to be unburdened by loads of things that aren't ever going to be used. The only things I refuse to throw away or give are my books, even though I may never read them again.

Allow a person tools as well, even if not used all that often that saw, hammer, chisel of whatever is essential when actually needed!

And I just love clutter . . .
