Does anybody else feel like they matured at a slower rate than everyone else?

Not me, unfortunately... I feel fifty. 

Matured as in a fine wine or old cheese?

Yeah, meaning seems to have  changed from the "mindless followers" it was once used for. Now more like psychopaths! Even The Asmo might not like such as underlings, they might turn on Him!

He even tried eating some of the minions. Doesn't seem to help.
