OMG Asmo is going through an emo phase, what sort of disaster or masterplan is imminent?

Bad omen, I tell ya.  :o

The Asmo is appealing to the Emo-kids, so that they will join the cause and form the shock troops of His Armada(tm).

wrath and dark clouds gather force.

We got play with a pig's digestive tract during animal science today.  ;D One of the many reasons I love that class.

My ear has gone wonky.  I think it has to do with the neverending cold.  Everyone sounds like they're talking inside a big room with a swimming pool, kind of echo-y and far away sounding.
Tell the Dr. If you get an inner ear infection it can cause deafness.

I did end up stopping by the clinic yesterday.  Do have a (double!) ear infection, so now I'm on gigantic horse pill sized antibiotics.  I didn't know that grown ups could even get ear infections!  I thought that was something that you outgrew, like listening to ICP.  LOL

Everyone's icons/siggys have changed!

In other news, the husband and I have been talking about plans in the next couple of years. After he gets through the next 1.5 years of his program, it's possible that we could end up moving pretty much anywhere. Which is scary but kind of cool. The top three contenders right now are London, New York or New Zealand. Crazy times.

But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

London! I used to live there, my wife was born there and we wouldn't go back there. Whereabouts in London?

Wherever the Fella can find a job, haha! His Ph.D is in 19th century American literature with a focus on Antarctic and Sci-Fi "identity".

Yeah, pretty random.

London is a top contender because it has about a million universities/post-secondary institutions and being an "Americanist" might be slightly more marketable there. It would also be one of the easier places to get "back home" for visits (it's actually cheaper to fly from London to Newfoundland than from most places in the States). I have no idea if it's somewhere we'd actually want to live, though. We've never there before.

Well when you get closer to the choice point we can start a 'pros and cons' thread and get into the details.

Even though my mother has been long gone and cremated, one of my uncles-- who aparrently just became christian-- wants to hold a private service for her to pray. Of course my sister and I are invited. My sister is a moron who actually believes our mom is watching over us from "above."

I am not going of course. The whole gesture after the fact is really irritating. Fuck, I hate religious idiots so much. I am trying  very hard to move on with my life, but they wont let me.

Ugh, sorry to hear that. I'd be pissed, too. I really hope they don't try to push you into participating.  :-[

Sorry to hear you're having a hard time with your relatives. You could always go as a zombie, in honour of Christianity.

They won't, but the whole thing is, I thought we avoided any religious crap after my mom died. She wasn't into churches or services, so wth??

I am just really pissed off....  People wont let it go. Why do they need "closure" when I got mine at   the hospital?  Shows how intelligent atheists are in comparision.
