I could not let this one go.  How could tomorrow (or the day after that or the day after that) possibly be brighter and cleaner after losing one's children??????

On the whole not questioning god's will thinking is circular and if applied guaranteed to prevent logic and skepticism. People are programmed to believe that anything bad that happens to them is their own fault. What a guilt trip to have to deal with.

From the hope of resurrection, which the book eludes to in 19:23-26. I said "hope", not certainty.

I am sorry.  I am still at a loss as to why after losing one's children that the hope of resurrection would make for a brighter and cleaner tomorrow.

Because god is just so awesome~
He can kill your friends and family, and you'd have to be an idiot   to hate him. :(
