I Have a Question for Everyone (Really)

This isn't really a suggestion on what to do while your sweetie is gone, it's more of a suggestion on what to do before she comes back.

Since this trip has been traumatic I'd suggest making sure her return home is as pleasant as possible.  Make sure your home is clean, the laundry is all done, and all other such chores are completed.  Re-stock her favorite foods in the refrigerator and perhaps have a meal ready to be warmed up to make her first meal after arriving home as stress free as possible.

Good luck with the Mother-in-Law issues, they can be a real bitch.
