Don't look at it like a rank, it's not.  It's a fun but meaningless reward for bothering to contribute to the discussion.  The more you contribute, the greater your rank becomes.

Yeah I post a lot of useless responses as well.  I'm going to start taking time with my responses.  I fear I've become "that guy".
