I used to do it and went through the transition from pump action manual to semi-auto's. I loved it. I used to organise big fights of 60 players rather than play in a team. Great fun!

I play occasionally and love it, my sweetie played semi professionally back in South Carolina and plays here in WA as much as he can.  He has a Luxe.  I'll play with whatever.

I always likened the after effect to a 'mental sauna', I used to drive home absolutly washed out and loved the feeling, all the adrenaline and endorphins having cleared our all the tensions of everyday life.

God made me an atheist, who are you to question his wisdom!

I play as often as I can. Unfortunately that is usually only 3-4 times a year. I have a duffel bag full of gear. 3 guns, mask, hoppers, pods. Army issue pistol belt and suspenders with magazine pouches to hold the pods and a butt pack for tools, more pods, maybe grenades. Closet full of camos. (U.S., Brit, German, and Swiss camo currently in my collection.) I usually wear U.S. pants with a tank top and a British vest.
The one thing everybody needs to remember is that I never claimed to be sane!

I used to do paintball but I'm both too sick and too broke to do it anymore.  I admit I miss it.

I haven't played paintball in years.  Around here paintball has fallen off as a big thing and been replaced by airsoft.

My boys and I would organize fights on our farm, sometimes with nearly 100 people running around, it was awesome.  I admit that I often just watched the kids do their thing, but it was fun to watch.  My father was a 43 year veteran of the Army and the Reserves, he retired as a SGT Major, both my brothers and he served in Desert Storm, so they loved doing the tactical stuff.  Me, I just made sure everyone was safe, and that we had plenty of water and snacks.

I started 3 years ago.
But quickly got tired of the freestyle/free-for-all crap. No one wanted to do tacticals.
I got out of it 2 years ago.
The essence of the mind is not in what it thinks, but how it thinks. Faith is the surrender of our mind; of reason and our skepticism to put all our trust or faith in someone or something that has no good evidence of itself. That is a sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith is not.

never played...i bruise very easily and was told it creates huge bruises and my imagination told me that would mean mega bruises on me.  Don't much care for pain.

One does get bruised. They are odd as they are mostly ring shaped, one looks as though one has been attacked by squid suckers! And the pain on the day is nothing compared to the muscular grief a couple of days after, particularly the tops of the thighs as one is crouching all the time. We used to have our games on a Sunday and on Tuesday/Wednesday back at work all but the youngest/fittest were groaning 'Never again!'.

How do you post images? I have a cell phone picture of my arm from last year. It's the worst hit I ever took. Less than 5' away on bare skin.
