I have this guy at work who is a absolute believer and he keeps going on about how much he hates jews,i keep arguing that his views are disrespecting them and that they have rights too.

The thing about this guy,he believes that jews don't deserve israel and that islam came before judiasm(which is wrong because islamic religion and christianity both came from judaism)

Now i normally have nothing against people who want to believe what they want so long as they leave everybody else alone, but as usual, religions are intolerant and this one is strong against jews and women.

I have warned the guy that his sexual advances to a married woman at work is inappropriate and that it may offend the girl.
The girl did get angry at me for taking it seriously but i mentioned it and she said that the woman is a fool for allowing it and even encouraging it.I have warned the guy that it might be ok in morocco, but this is not morocco and it could get him fired and even a sexual harassment, but he kept going on.

I was very nice about it and said to him:listen,i am your friend and i say this in the deepest respect:You got to be careful with your movements and gestures, you might offend her and others.

Would you mind rephrasing this bit so I can understand your story? What girl? How many people are we talking about here?

And yes, arguing with any fanatic is a waste of time.

It's not always that bad. In my opinion it depends on how the conversation begins in the first place. I've had hundreds of discussions with both Christian and Muslim fundamentalists and sometimes it has been a waste of time, and you can tell from the start. However, many of these "debates" have ended with the fanatic realizing how closed-minded his religious outlook is, and I admit it felt really good!

Priest: "No, not if you did not know."
Eskimo: "Then why did you tell me?"

This is a reply to the first guy:

I warned the Morocco guy about advances on a married woman during breakfast hour when he would make sexual types of gestures while eating that i found rather offensive.

Thing is,we always eat breakfast together and have known each other for years already and i have always gave him a warning glance or warn him that what he does might be inappropriate while accompanying people.

If you eat at a table,it is natural:

Not to fart while around people
Not to speak with your mouth full

etc etc.

I also have known the girl that the moroccan guy made sexual gestures to that might be seen as offensive, but i still think it is inappropriate behavior around people.

The thing is,some muslims behave in a sexist manner that suggests that they view women as objects that are inferior.

I of course spoke about this to my mother whom i trust and she advised me to ignore the whole thing and don't give the moroccan guy friendly advice.

To FTLebanon:

Yes,it really depends on the person you speak to.

I know some guys who never viewed them acting in such a disgusting manner.

Sure, its one thing to be attracted to a woman and  to say you want to go out with her,but gestures like:Sexist remarks and gestures really should be left out.

And racist comments should also be thought out clearly because all of us are working in a american company and as much as he may be brainwashed by his family and friends in a warped sort of manner,he should keep his vile racist opinion to himself.

I agree with her.
I'm not sure if he meant guy as in male... I tend to use the word "guy/guys" in an asexual manner... I guess I should correct that.
Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

I could see that in the plural, I do it too; but in the singular I've only known it to be used toward males. I just thought I'd clear up the matter in case FNM had overlooked those details and mistaken me for a guy.

In my opinion...because I'm a douche to people like this, I would have grilled (scolded for people who take that seriously) this man until he apologizes. Not to me, but the woman he was acting rude to. I'm sorry but this kind of behavior does not deserve or receive respect.

It IS??? Natural??
The essence of the mind is not in what it thinks, but how it thinks. Faith is the surrender of our mind; of reason and our skepticism to put all our trust or faith in someone or something that has no good evidence of itself. That is a sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith is not.

Seriously, if you've known the guy for years and this behaviour bothers you....why still hang with him?
