Facebook Friend Glitch?

So apparently I can't see one of my friend's profiles on Facebook for some reason. She doesn't even show up on my friends list. I don't think it's because he removed me, since we're pretty good friends. Somehow all of her posts on my wall disappeared and when I search for her in the box at the top she doesn't appear at all. I looked at the friends lists of our mutual friends and also noticed that she doesn't appear on their lists as well. Is this a glitch or did she do something to her account to hide it from everyone?

I am having the same exact problem...just noticed it today. She posted something on her profile, 10/20 minutes later, all her posts on my profile, photos, friend's list, other people's profiles are gone. I cannot find her in searches. I made another profile to see if she blocked me, cannot find her at all. After doing some research, it's one of these options:

-A glitch: another friend, said his friend went through this before and the next day it was all back.
-Completely blocked everyone: for some personal reason or whatever
-Deletion: possibly, but wikihow says it takes like 14 days for complete deletion, but doesnt say if comments are deleted on the 14th day or during the process

I'm going to text my friend to see what's up, you should probably do the same. But post back and tell me what the problem was.

it takes 14 days for complete deletion from facebook's servers, but that doesn't necessarily mean you won't be immediately removed from certain listings upon deactivation of an account.  pretty standard database practice.  just speculating by the way.

also, facebook is rolling out new privacy options today, so that could be part of it. afaik they're not available but any time you mess with something like that you're bound to have some oddities during the transition. again speculating.
