Quote from: "Will"That's an interesting idea. Though I probably couldn't get a law degree specializing in US civil rights abroad, I could study journalism, architecture, and teaching. I hadn't even considered that. Thanks!

If you decide to go for an architecture degree abroad make sure that it will be accepted by NCARB when you get back to the states (assuming you decide to come back).  Some people who become architects in other countries have to basically start from square one with school/internship/testing to be an architect in the USA.   But you should definitely go into architorture  ;)
There's another thing to take into account. As far as I know, American citizens have to pay American taxes even when they aren't living in American territory. This is unusual. I'm British and I don't have to pay British taxes when I'm not living in Britain. So if you're taking this idea seriously, see if the counties you are considering have some kind of tax treaty with the US in place. Being double taxed would suck.

Quote from: "Will"No worries! I was well compensated and I love below my means to I have about a year's worth of money saved up (I can live on like $1400 a month when I budget).

I just had to grab that quote out - it is such an interesting phrase.

Quote from: "Kylyssa"If I could go back to college I'd pursue a degree in marine biology.  I'd like to work on species conservation through aquaculture.  I'm very adept at breeding marine species of fish and invertebrates and culturing coral (SPS, LPS, softies, the works), getting a degree would increase my knowledge and put my skill level in a whole new category.

In my fantasy world, I'd sell some of my science fiction including a novel or so.

Hmmm... Writing and marine biology?

Ya know, the guy who created SpongeBob is a marine biologist.
Maybe you should be writing cartoons?

Hey, I'm stuck for a job as well.

Writing: I feel like I could be a writer, and I have done a major story before, albeit cut off quickly due to lack of dedication. I am, however learning more about plot design in english, and I may be able to write a novel, as i've recently learned how to advertize a book to a publisher properly.

Chemical work: I'd also like a job in Chemistry. I Find such stuff Fasinating, and would like a Job in with a heavy basis on Science.

And there is a final resort, Law: My parent's have told me about being a lawyer numerous times, But I've only done One "debate" like item, which was more like a play. I am, however, very interesed in activism and copywright, and I kinda hope to be a pr PR or lawyer...

I'm in credit level for both Chemistry and Physics, and general for Biology.

Foundation for English (Didn't start writing more than a sentance until 1st year.) and general for Computing.

Oh, well.
Now I can be re-gognizod!

Paramedic.  I am actually leaving my job in January to start the spring semester at the local community college.  So freakin' excited.

Paramedic!!! That's a great idea!
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

EvolutionCalling

Yeah.  I am taking the firefighter test in March too.  So at least if I don't get that I'll have my EMT and eventually Paramedic certs to fall back on.
