Hey there, Cole here.

I thought of an original argument based on logic that disproves god. No one that I know of has thought of this before me. Please check it out, and if you'd like, subscribe to my youtube. I am just starting out and I would greatly appreciate it.

The video is called "Disproving God"

Will

It doesn't disprove god insomuch as it simply establishes, like many other arguments, that the god construct isn't rational. Still, irrational things exist so the mere fact god is irrational does not prove nonexistence.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

Many Christians will be more than happy to tell you that their God is irrational and can do irrational things such as creating square circles.  I find this odd and irrational in itself for many reasons...but it doesn't seem to bother some of them.

Btw, you were doing very well in the video till your friend pointed out you mispronounced Galatians.  I think you should retake that scene and re-upload the video.  I think a lot of Christians might stop listening...they'll think "well he doesn't know anything about the Bible" rather than thinking about what you have to say about god and rationality.

Anyway, welcome to the forum.

Quote from: "Will"It doesn't disprove god insomuch as it simply establishes, like many other arguments, that the god construct isn't rational. Still, irrational things exist so the mere fact god is irrational does not prove nonexistence.

Well it does prove by your example that the biblical discription of a god is wrong. According to the bible god is perfect and infalible. Irational beings are not perfect and I dought an irational being could be infalible either.

God is a cake, and we all know what the cake is.

(my spelling, grammer, and punctuation suck, I know, but regardless of how much I read they haven't improved much since grade school. It's actually a bit of a family joke.

Heretical Rants

I believe that part of your argument may be found here in the chapter entitled "God's Motivation."

You, of course, explored a different aspect of it than the author of that book.  I'm not saying it's not original.
