Do tweets to your cellphone count as data or as text messages?

Texts. They come to and from number 40404. If you have MMS, you can also send pic/video through services like Twitpic or Pikchur (my favorite) and it still counts as a text message, even though you're uploading media. It's really handy if you have SMS-to-Email, too.

It can be very overwhelming, especially if you follow some of our forum members at Twitter . But, I still think it is kind of cool. I access Twitter at home on my PC, laptop or iPod Touch (via a WLAN connection) . It is blocked at work.

I feel bad because I've had a bunch of #FF's the past couple weeks and I've been completely ignoring Twitter... mostly readjusting to my new schedule. Summer for me is the busy time, believe it or not, so I'm ... absent to some degree.  

But, for any interested, Clive Fucking Barker is on Twitter! @RealCliveBarker! Mr. Hellraiser, himself. Very, very cool.

What's an #FF?

It's a hash tag that stands for Follow Friday #followfriday also works.  Some twitter based things are set up to keep track of various words that start with a #.  So, the idea is that on fridays you make a list of people you think should be followed an tweet it with #ff or #followfriday.  My list is too long and I don't want to post a ton of follow friday tweets (some people do)...so I post a random selection in the tweet then link to my follow friday post.
