In other words, don't grab the poor girl and smash her body with yours.  Position yourself like this:

Remember:  Classy, not trashy.

I asked my cousin about that position for slow dances and she says it's a bit too formal. She recommends that I put my hands on her hips and she puts hers on my shoulders. As for fast dances, I'm kinda clueless right now.

I found out that my prom group is going out to a place called "Bilbo Baggins" for dinner before the prom. I took a look at the website and I think it's a pub... I really have no idea why our group chose that place since we can't drink anyway. I was actually hoping for a fancier restaurant.

I wouldn't worry too much about the dancing thing, or where to put your hands. Just follow her lead, if she wants to slow dance by just swaying to the side, do that, if she wants to dance goofy to a rock song then just cut up and have fun (don't worry about how you look to your friends, as long as the two of you have fun cutting up) and if she wants to dance freaky, well then...

Man, I've been coughing a lot the past couple of days. I really hope it gets better by tomorrow since that's when my prom is and I don't wanna cough in Sydney's face when I'm dancing with her. My throat has also been feeling really dry too even though I've been drinking a lot of water.

High levels of stress can lessen your immune system's effectiveness. Do you think this could be part of the problem?

Get lots of rest tonight and take some OTC cough medicine.  Honey and lemon are pretty good natural remedies too if you need to take something to calm the cough tomorrow night and react unfavorably to cough medicine.  I also suggest putting some cough drops in your pocket...select some that don't smell like medicine.

Ah, memories. All of you look great! Looks like you had a good time, too, for sure. You and Sidney have any other plans before school's out?

I hope you all had a great time.

Now I wish my husband's school had a prom so we could chaperone...I like excuses to dress up.

You looked very handsome in your tux, Godless.  I hope you and your friends had a nice evening.

You mean you don't vacuum in your pearls and evening gown?   :hmm:

I wanna go out with her next weeekend. Apparently she also likes movies such as The Hangover since she said she just saw it. On Thursday, my school is having a senior picnic and on graduation day, there's an all night graduation party as well so there are some more chances to hangout with her. I would like to keep doing stuff with her over the summer though.

Alright, so Sydney told me a couple of days ago that her cell phone is kinda messed up so I can't really call her and I forgot to ask for her house number. However, I think I found her house number on the Yellow Pages. Would it be creepy if I called her even though she didn't actually tell me her house number?

Yes, it would be very creepy...I had a guy do that with me.  He ended up calling half of my relatives before finding my dad's place.  Since you have been on a date with her, it wouldn't be as creepy as with the guy who called me...but still odd.

Just try her cell phone.  If it is only kinda messed up then it might work or you can at least leave a message which she will get when her cell phone is fixed.

Well I may see her at my graduation party this Sunday and she told me she's replacing her old iPhone with the 3G one, but I kinda want to do something with her some time sooner though. I asked Megan and she doesn't know her home phone either.

Damn, she couldn't come to my graduation party since she was at the orientation for her college. I kinda found that out at the last minute when Megan told me. Megan also told me that Sydney just got a new phone on Friday so I really hope she picks up when I call her this week...

Just be real careful that you're not "that guy."

You know, the one that appears to be annoyingly obsessed with bugging the girl he likes? Just be careful, or you could ruin your friendship. You may not think so now, but the friendship is more important than the romance. There will always be time for romance later.
