Support of Prop 8 should remove LDS's 501 Status

As of this morning, the California Supreme Court ruled that proposition 8 stands. This is quite disheartening.  :(
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

That sucks in so many ways, I don't even know where to start.  

Suffice to say... it sucks.  SO much for the liberal west coast, eh.  :rant:

At least the marriages are staying legal. Silver lining, I guess.

I can't even see that as a silver lining, curio.  So a few thousand couples made it in before it was banned.  Hundreds of thousands are being denied their right to marry and there is nothing now that will change that.

The religious see this as a win.  I see it as a drastic step backwards for our society.  We are no better than the Islamic nations, just a different god in charge.

Another proposition to repeal Prop 8 could fix it. My point was that it could've been a much shittier day if the court deemed those marriages annulled.
