The Passion of the Atheist (Hello!)

Hi, I was going to just lurk for a while but I always do that and then I never get involved. So here.

I'm a twenty-one year old atheist housewife, married for almost a year to my wonderful atheist husband. I come all the way from Birmingham, Alabama... raised in a Southern Baptist home. I sat on the fence (always questioning to my poor simple-minded family) through childhood but finally hopped over to this side when I was sixteen. There was no defining moment for me, no light bulb flashed over my head, the transition just came naturally as I matured.

I am passionate in my disbelief. My lack of faith is strong. I'm a born-again atheist. I'm happy to find this forum.
