There's no point to trying to make life perfect. Only God makes perfection and only through His love can Heaven be known. To think life can be better then Heaven is foolish. Hope only comes from God, the motivation of man without His guidance is evil even if the results look like good.

I'm not even sure what this guy is trying to say.  Any thoughts?

Just the typical christian (i assume) chitchat.
As we say here "too many noise, too little nuts"
It comes to say "you can't compete with god cos hes smarter and tougher than you, so shut up and keep in your place cos that's where god did put you"

This is a fine way to say "if you don't adore my (well actually THE ONLY) god, you're going to hell"

One of the most frustrating thoughts that goes through my head when I think of Nuns or Monks Is not that they follow the codes and commandments set out for them ...its the fact that they are or were indoctrinated in the first place to believe that a solitary and obedient existence is the way they have to live their entire life before they will find the happiness they are seeking. I dunno
