Beachdragon

Thanks Evri, and I like your dragon!

Wow. You've really got some talent there, beachdragon. The cross-stitch looks particularly cool. Also, Green Eggs and Horror looks pretty interesting, Davin. Did you make your avatar, as well?

I've drawn on and off for years. Since I was about seven years old, actually. Here's one of my most recent drawings:

It's in the style of anime, but the character isn't really of anyone in particular. It's just a young man in a military-ish uniform, is all. Oh, and MariaEvri, I love your dragon, as well. In particular, your use of color is pretty awesome. I rarely use color at all, probably because I don't own any art supplies, and have to do everything with a mechanical pencil, so it's awesome to see stuff like this! ;D

I really wish I could draw like that. My son can and he can paint as well. My wife and I have no idea where he got the talent from as neither I nor her have any artistic talent whatsoever.

Thanks Tank. I think that there is far too much emphasis, however, on talent over practice. I've produced some ugly stuff over the years, especially in the beginning. In fact, I probably would be least likely to have had talent in the beginning. Your son, on the other hand, probably has more talent than I ever could. His paintings must be lovely.

Of course, I also find your extensive military knowledge impressive. Especially the way you can recall all this data about Tanks and Armoured Vehicles. That's an awesome passion. :)

Yeah, I actually have Sweden's coat hanging up somewhere. I planned to start cosplaying but there is nothing around in my area.

Aye, made a bunch of them for friends and family too.

I like that drawing and the style. I've also drawn since I was very young, but you can't tell from my drawings (they still look kinda crappy most of the time).

You're drawing style looks like you're a bit tense when doing it, Davin. I recognize it, because my style was like that around my senior year of high school. But don't beat yourself up, because you can do those awesome animations you showed us. That, my friend, takes dedication and skill.

I can draw somewhat well, but only with a 0.5mm pencil. I've never used anything, because I've never had anything else, so I'd really suck at making those 3D renders. Be proud of them. They're really good. ;D

Davin

Nah, I'm rarely ever tense, and never when I'm drawing.

I like it Davin!  Very good!

Huzzah, another chainmaille finish!  This is a stainless steel variant of barrel weave.  I call it smoking barrels.  It's a gift for a friend and let me tell you, stainless steel rings are a real bitch to close!  Sorry if they are a bit blurry.

Beachdragon

By the way, it took me a week to do.  I would work for a few hours at a time since the steel was so hard and hurt my hands.  I really need to get cushioned pliers.
