Hi guys,

First off, I'm a Christian. I enjoy civilized debate which is why this forum looks promising. I despise preaching in a forum designed for discussion I hate it when Christians use Bible verses to "prove" Christian doctrine. Actually, I do debate quite frequently, and if I don't get harassed off of a forum I'll usually end up staying for a while.

If both sides can't come to a topic with a relatively open-mind I don't believe debate will truly accomplish anything (unless a 3rd party is listening). I consider all atheistic theories with high regard, I don't believe atheists are trying to "deny what they know is true." I believe that you yourselves are most likely highly intelligence and have excellent reasons for your faith...or lack there of.

Please have patience with me. I try to answer all questions concerning my faith but some questions exceed my immediate knowledge...if that is the case rest assured that I will try my best to find the answer to whatever the question is, whether it be scientific problems with the Bible, historical problems, archeological problems, problems with perceived contradictions and philosophical problems. Please do not take my views and vices to represent Christianity or Christians as a whole.

Thank you and best regards,

Titan

Excellent, the last forum I debated on was called EvilBible...naturally the discussion was a little heated from the start.

Hi Titan, welcome to the forum.  I hope you find the atmosphere here to be both intellectually stimulating and enjoyable.  Feel free to participate in non-religion based topics too...I think it helps break the ice a little bit.

Thank you, I've been looking around for a bit and I really do enjoy the atmosphere. The answers you guys are providing to some of the questions are really fantastic and there is a perfect amount of humor involved.

Welcome to the forum, Titan. I second the suggestion to feel free to engage in all areas of the forum. There are plenty of enjoyable topics discussed in addition to religion. I know you've already jumped right in, so again, welcome!

Thanks guys, and I must say you area already teaching me some stuff about base assumptions and I'm really enjoying the debate thus far. I hope this remains as civilized and friendly as it has been so far. Thanks again.
