Ha Ha. I wish I knew what that said. I'm an American on an AirForce Base in Japan.

Dang, and I was going to try to dazzle you with my Japanese! What the hell. はじã,ã¾ã—て! どうぞã,ˆã,ã—くおねがã,,します! ã,ˆã†ã"そ!  ;)  (Greetings! Nice to meet you! Welcome!)

How do you like living in Japan? I had thought about going there to teach, but I seem to recently have changed my target to Taiwan. The people I know who've moved to the land of the rising sun either love it or hate it.

Well to tell the truth, I can't wait to get back to the US. This place is crowded and ugly. It's so hard to find your way around here. Everthing is just crammed together. And wow is it expensive.

Welcome to the forum shedaytrips.
I've been to Tokyo once and was amazed that nearly nobody spoke English. Trying to order a meal in a restaurant or getting back to the hotel by taxi was a quite interesting experience. Anyway I loved that town and the people, but like you said Japan is indeed friggin' expensive.

Bin there (twice), done that, got the T-Shirt. Yes, Norway is also very expensive especially if you want to have a drink. But I love to go back again to Oslo, with it's wonderful musea and great atmosphere. We spent hours in the Kon-Tiki Museet, Vigeland Museet and Munch-Museet and had wonderful fish food at the harbor.

Yes we've been there as well, went straight to the top and had a marvelous view down. We also had a look at the ski-museum there and went into the ski simulator.
