Hello!!

I'm an atheist from the North East of England. Basically I have decided to seek out Atheist based groups as I am starting to feel under pressure because of my non belief. I am tired of mainly Christians challenging me when they hear my views on science and religion etc. I stand my ground but my argument is usually weak. The funny thing is when I tell people that I do not celebrate Christmas they automatically believe that I'm a Jehovah's Witness even though I'm wearing a Humanist or Darwin pin.

If you ever need any help with that, there are many people on this forum who have arguing with theists down to a science, no pun intended.

Hi Mason.  Welcome to the forum!  This is a great place to get ammo to use against theists...and it's a good place to practice on the Jeebus Freaks that post in the religion section.  Have fun!

Welcome to HAF mason! My arguments used to be absolutely awful as well (and still kind of are hehe....) but people on this forum have actually really helped me stand my own with theists. It hasn't been until (very) recently that I've had to debate with theists mind you, but this forum has helped me tremendously nonetheless, just as I'm sure it will you. Happy posting!
