Hello, new atheist here!!

Hello! I'm Joe, and I'm an atheist. I am for several reasons:

Organized religion is mankind's biggest scourge. What good does it do? BILLIONS of people have been killed over this mass lie. There is no good religion. There is no right religion. Nobody needs a fictitious manual to tell them how to live and what to believe. If you cant do that for yourself, I have no hope for you. We evolved from monkeys, the earth is 4 billion years old, there was no great flood, and people don't come back from the dead. Religion is just an explanation the ignorant use for what they cannot understand.

I could go on and on, but you've all probably heard it all before.

I dont' mean to be too picky here, but we did not evolve from monkeys. We share a common ancestor.

Monkeys evolved from Creationists.

Thank you we share the same view.It's just a tool in brainwashing people and using them to do someone else's bidding.Even the Christians can't agree on much of anything and end up starting wars over that to. :upset:

Those are not rules. They are statements. (Oh, and I, for my part, don't have any republicans or democrats anywhere near me... But we have about ten different political parties here.)
