Hi...

You sound interesting. Care to start a topic and expand a bit on your view of afterlife? Like what it is and how it works?

Welcome to the forum! I'm also curious about your thoughts about the afterlife and the paranormal.

Hey Slipknot.  Welcome to the forum.

I, too, am curious about your views of an afterlife.  It's pretty inconsistent with typical atheist views.  Can you elaborate?

Welcome!

Yeah, I'm a bit confused as well...

I dunno what box you fit in ;-)

Hope to learn more - maybe I'll join you,

Hello, Slipknot.
While it's easy to believe in the paranormal, or want to believe in it, the lack of evidence is as overwhelming there as it is in religion. Still, it'll be interesting to hear your views so that we might help educate you even more.

So... What happens to you after death then? Are you still you? (on the concious level, not physical, naturally.)

Also, you mentioned "astral dimension," what is it? Is il a world of... Energy?

Please expand a little, don't be lazy  :P

Have you ever seen the movie Donnie Darko? I think the premise of that movie is time travel within an astral dimension. I don't really know much about it. Either way it's a great movie. Patrick Swayze plays a role in it. It's my favorite Swayze character of all time. He plays a motivational speaker who is also a child molester. Classic. If anybody would like a movie recommendation for today - here it is.

Ah, Donnie Darko! A really great movie indeed. Although I would not recommend it to easily depressive people or people just looking for an entertaining movie to waste a couple of hours. It's too heavy for that.

you would probably be conscious but confused.

By concious, you mean self aware and still the same me as I was before I died? Or would I be more like a blank sheet, with no memories or awareness of what was before death?
