You know in France there are no wheel clampers. When they started trying to clamp cars people squirted super glue into the clamp locks so the clampers had to cut their own clamps off. They stopped trying to clamp cars after a few weeks.

Thanks for the great idea. My city just lowered the number of parking tickets needed to get a boot. I think on the second one, they boot your car now. Greedy fucking city.

If it is anything like where I live, the tow truck companies have deals with the local police force or local government. Certain ones get called all the time to tow cars the state orders towed. It made me smile too.

That is, apparently, what you get for parking with your crane hooked to someone else's car. T0wd, baby!  

Here, you are likely to be towed by the same truck as comes to offer you assistance when you mow down a telephone pole (Or it mows down you), have some catastrophic car failure or just can't operate the jack. Having an old car, I rather like tow trucks, as I know I can rely on them when Rusty decides to get all senile on me and forget how to... Well, work, really.
